This video “Meet the NEW FACE of the Sixers” is about rookie VJ Edgecombe’s emergence for the Philadelphia 76ers. Edgecombe was drafted by the Sixers third overall in the 2025 NBA Draft and through his first few games with the Sixers, the team is undefeated and Edgecombe has been terrific. This video goes into his background – growing up in Bimini, Bahamas, and playing for Team Bahamas in the 2024 Olympic Qualifiers. Edgecombe’s emergence has allowed the team to rely less on star Joel Embiid and more on VJ and teammate Tyrese Maxey.
