The Wizards defeated the Hornets, 98-92. Kyle Kuzma led Washington with 19 points, four rebounds, and three assists as Bilal Coulibaly added 12 points, five rebounds, and four steals. Terry Rozier (13 points, seven assists, six rebounds) and LaMelo Ball (12 points, six rebounds) led Charlotte in the loss. Washington improves to 2-0 on the preseason as Charlotte falls to 0-2 with the loss.
