The Utah Jazz defeated the Los Angeles Lakers, 131-119, at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City turning the tables on the latter after a thrashing previously. After a solid team effort, the Jazz had six players in double figures led by Lauri Markkanen with 32 points. Jordan Clarkson and Keyonte George added 21 and 20 points, respectively. Rui Hachimura topped the scoring for the Lakers with 19 points. LeBron James and Austin Reaves chipped in 18 points and 15 points, respectively. Luka Doncic, still adjusting to his new team, added 16 points. Utah improved to 13-40 while LA slipped to a still respectable 32-20 on the season and just before the NBA All-Star Break.
